Who We Are

The People Behind TinyLittleBird

We know most “About Us” pages are boring. Don’t worry, this isn’t one of them. We’re not here to list credentials or talk about ourselves too much. This is an honest letter from our founder about why TinyLittleBird exists and how it came to life. If that sounds like something you’d enjoy, we invite you to keep reading.

A Letter From The Owner

Hi, nice to meet you. I’m Raid Zemmouri, the owner of TinyLittleBird.

I’m sorry, I know you probably spent a few seconds trying to pronounce my name, wondering if you got it right. But it’s okay. It’s an honor to meet you.

Since you’re on this page, I’m guessing you don’t mind if I tell you my story. So here goes.

I’m Raid, and I’m a marketer at heart. I have a master’s degree in marketing and communication, which sounds fancier than it is, but it did teach me a few things about how people actually communicate.

But out of everything I studied in marketing, there was one thing that captured my full attention.

It was email.

For me, email is the best communication channel online. Period.

Old but gold, as they say.

And I think so because email does two things better than any other channel:

      1. It builds deep, intimate relationships with people.
      2. It converts people.

No other channel does both at the same level.

Social media is definitely better for branding and awareness, but when it comes to those two, email wins for sure.

But here’s where things went wrong.

In the last two decades, because email was so good at converting, marketers started using it like a money printer.

Write a message, hit send, watch the money roll in.

It was that simple.

They completely ignored email’s other superpower, which is building genuine connection.

That was because they simply didn’t need it.

The aggressive approach was working just fine in an empty marketplace.

But that was then.

After COVID hit, things changed radically.

Online business exploded. Everyone had something to sell. Everyone was pitching.

And today, people are receiving tens, maybe hundreds of promotional emails every single day.

This made them more skeptical.

Now they can smell generic, sales-driven content from the subject line alone.

The days of copying an email template from a forum and watching sales pour in are gone for good.

So, does that mean email is dead?

Honestly, I thought it was.

Until I discovered someone named Andre Chaperon.

Andre told me the truth about email’s death…

“Email isn’t dead.”

In fact, it’s far from dead.

Data shows that in 2025, email is still the highest-performing communication channel in terms of ROI and conversion rate.

However…

The old way of doing email is dead.

The coin has flipped.

Remember those two big things email does well?

For years, marketers obsessed over the second one (selling) and completely neglected the first (relationship building).

Now, the old approach triggers instant resistance.

People are not paying attention to those pushy emails anymore.

They tune out. They unsubscribe. They delete them.

So, if you want to stand out in 2025, what do you do?

You focus on the thing everyone else abandoned…

building genuine connection first.

We’re going full circle.

Back to the days when email was the tool friends and lovers used to write to each other.

Back to emotional, empathy-filled letters that people actually looked forward to reading.

The secret to doing email right today is getting the balance between connection and selling.

When you find the right balance, email becomes a money printer again.

So this leads me to tell you why I’m here.

Why I’m writing these words to you.

Well… here’s the thing.

Most people haven’t figured out this truth about email yet.

They either avoid it completely because they think it’s dead (leaving massive money on the table),

or they do it the old way and burn through their list, destroying their relationship with their audience for a few quick pennies.

It hurts to see that happen.

Because I knew there was a better way,

a way that honors your audience, builds real trust, and generates sustainable revenue.

So I decided to do something about it.

I created TinyLittleBird to support the relationship-first email movement.

We deliver complete email marketing services, from strategy to tech to copywriting, all built beak by beak on one core philosophy:

Lead with value and empathy.

We chose to work specifically with personal brands because you’re the ones who care most about your relationship with your audience.

You’re the ones who get it immediately.

You didn’t build your following by spamming people, and you’re not about to start now.

You want to monetize your audience without losing yourself in the process.

That’s exactly who we’re here to serve.

So if you’re reading this, you probably feel that tension.

You know you should be using email,

but you don’t want to become that person screaming “BUY NOW!”

You’ve built something real, and the thought of ruining it with pushy tactics makes you uncomfortable.

I know how you feel. And you’re absolutely right to feel that way.

Because you care about your people.

Here’s what I want you to know…

You don’t have to choose between making money and keeping your integrity.

You don’t have to sacrifice your relationship with your audience to pay your bills.

And you definitely don’t have to figure this out alone.

That’s why we’re here.

Whether you work with us or not, I hope this letter helps you see email differently.

Not as a spammy, salesy, pushy tool, but as what it truly is…

the most powerful relationship-building and revenue-generating tool you can have.

When done right, email doesn’t just work. It transforms your business.

And if you’re ready to see what that looks like for your personal brand, I’d be honored to show you.

Thank you for reading our story with email.

Now, if you decide to, let us help you write yours.

P.S. If you’re still wondering how to pronounce my name, it’s Rah-eed Zem-moo-ree.

But you can call me whatever feels right.

What matters most to me is that you took the time to read this.

Just one more thing…

Besides our bird’s photos and my tiny little picture below, you’ve probably noticed there aren’t many images on our website compared to most marketing agencies.

That’s intentional.

Visuals aren’t really our thing. We’re writers. We like words. And that’s another reason we love email so much.
